Do I need a commercial invoice to ship to Norway?
If you are sending commercial goods, you will also need a Commercial Invoice that outlines the commercial value of the goods and a description of what you are importing/exporting, also an EORI REFERENCE is required and the commodity codes of the goods, mentioned on the invoice.
Where do you put a commercial invoice?
Attach three copies of a Commercial Invoice, enclosed in a pouch or envelope, to the outside of pallet, and one electronic copy sent to us at office@pallet2ship.co.uk. If you do not have your own Commercial Invoice format to use, you can ask at any time for one at office@pallet2ship.co.uk.
If I deliver goods to Norway, do I need a local telephone number or a mobile number?
Yes, if you are shipping to Norway, please be advised you need to provide a local telephone number or mobile number at the delivery address. Depots outside of the UK will not call a UK telephone number.
If I deliver a pallet to Norway, can I add timed delivery(AM delivery/PM delivery, Timed delivery or Saturday delivery)?

Can I insure my pallet when shipping to/from Norway?

How can I obtain a quotation?

If the online system cannot automatically generate prices, please fill on the custom quote form and we will get back to you within a few hours.
Can I ship a pallet that includes engines or gearboxes to Norway?
Yes, you can. We have a dedicated service for this requirement. The collection address has to be a commercial location (E.g. garage). Also, the goods need to be professionally cleaned, strapped and very well packed on the pallet. Please make sure that at the time of the booking you follow the instructions and select a service which handles engines or gearboxes.
Can I ship a pallet that includes personal effects to Norway?
Yes, you can, but we will require some pictures of the consignment in order to make sure the goods travel safely. Please make sure that at the time of the booking you follow the instructions and select a service which handles personal effects.
How do I know if my consignment is properly packed?
If you haven't sent a pallet/ parcel before, and you are not sure if your consignment is properly packed, you can take a few pictures and send them to us at office@pallet2ship.co.uk and we can guide you through the packing process. A properly packed consignment will travel safely, and the risk of damage is minimised.
Can I ship a pallet that includes batteries to Norway?
Yes, we ship a large variety of batteries, but we will need the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) of the product to make sure it is safe to be transported through our services. Please be advised that batteries over 100 Wh are considered DG (Dangerous Goods). In this case it has to be packed, labelled and documented to IATA specifications - i.e. professionally packed with a DGN (Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods by Air). Also, please be advised that handling charges may apply if you choose to ship this type of goods by air.
Do I need forklift when shipping a pallet to Norway?
If you are shipping a consignment that's shorter than 200cm and lighter than 750kg, you won't need a forklift. The vehicle assigned to collect your consignment is equipped with both a tail-lift and pump-truck, and the driver should be able to collect/deliver your consignment(s) without any issues. If your consignment exceeds 200cm in height and if it's heavier than 750kg, then yes, you must have a forklift at both collection and delivery points.
