Also, the goods need to be professionally cleaned, strapped and very well packed on the pallet. Can I ship a pallet that includes batteries to Serbia?
Yes, we ship a large variety of batteries, but we will need the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) of the product to make sure it is safe to be transported through our services. Please be advised that batteries over 100 Wh are considered DG (Dangerous Goods). In this case it has to be packed, labelled and documented to IATA specifications - i.e. professionally packed with a DGN (Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods by Air). Do I need forklift when shipping a pallet to Serbia?
If you are shipping a consignment that's shorter than 200cm and lighter than 750kg, you won't need a forklift. The vehicle assigned to collect your consignment is equipped with both a tail-lift and pump-truck, and the driver should be able to collect/deliver your consignment(s) without any issues. If your consignment exceeds 200cm in height and if it's heavier than 750kg, then yes, you must have a forklift at both collection and delivery points.
