Parcel Delivery for Small Boxes and Larger Consignments

Pallet2Ship arranges UK and international parcel delivery with DHL, FedEx and UPS, including heavy boxes, oversized parcels and multi-parcel consignments. Compare online quotes for UK deliveries, exports and imports into the UK. Door-to-door services include tracking, with customs-document support for international shipments.

A box of spare parts, an oversized carton and a consignment of several heavy packages need different shipping options. Enter the packed dimensions and weight of each parcel to see the available services and the full transport price for the selected service before booking.

Our parcel services suit businesses sending occasional orders or regular stock, samples, returns and replacement parts. Private senders can also use suitable services. There is no credit account or minimum shipment volume to commit to, and our team can help when a shipment needs more than a standard online quote.

Why Choose Pallet2Ship for Parcel Delivery?

  • Access to DHL, FedEx and UPS through one quote and booking service
  • Ordinary parcels, heavy boxes, oversized packages and multi-parcel consignments
  • UK delivery, international exports and overseas collections into the UK
  • Door-to-door transport with tracking included
  • Online Commercial Invoice creation and customs-document guidance
  • Optional insurance and experienced support when you need it

Send Parcels with DHL, FedEx and UPS

Pallet2Ship works with DHL, FedEx and UPS to arrange parcel collections and deliveries. You book through Pallet2Ship, and the selected carrier moves the shipment through its network. Our team remains available for booking questions and help with carrier enquiries.

The available carriers and services depend on the route, goods, packed size and weight. A service offered for one box or destination may not suit another, so compare the actual options returned for your shipment rather than choosing by carrier name alone.

Heavy, Oversized and Multi-Parcel Delivery

Heavy Parcel Delivery

Dense goods such as tools, spare parts and boxed equipment can need a service with a higher per-piece weight allowance. A heavy parcel is not automatically pallet freight, but its packaging and handling must suit the selected courier service.

Check the finished weight of each box, use packaging strong enough for its contents and declare any special handling needs. A consignment's total weight does not establish that every individual box is acceptable. Carrier weight limits and heavy-piece charges still apply.

Oversized and Long Parcel Delivery

Large, long or awkwardly shaped packages can be sent on suitable services, provided their dimensions and packaging meet the carrier's requirements. A lightweight item may still count as oversized because of its length, overall dimensions or combined length and girth.

Measure the complete package, including any bulging or protruding sections. Large-piece or additional-handling charges can apply even when a parcel is below the maximum permitted size. Where no suitable online option appears, ask us to review the details before booking.

Multiple Parcels in One Booking

Several boxes travelling from one collection address to one delivery address can be booked together on supported services. Enter each parcel's own dimensions and weight, even when the cartons look similar.

Pack and label each box separately using its assigned shipping label. Do not tape several boxes together and describe them as one parcel. For a larger consignment, we can also help assess whether keeping the goods as individual parcels or securing them to a pallet is more practical.

UK, European and Worldwide Parcel Services

UK Parcel Delivery

Send business orders, samples, documents, parts and accepted private parcels within the UK. Collection and delivery can be arranged at business or residential addresses on supported services, with tracking provided for the shipment.

Next-working-day options are available on selected routes. Check the service's delivery estimate and collection date together: a next-day delivery service does not mean the courier will collect immediately. Highlands, islands and remote postcodes may have different coverage or schedules.

Movements wholly within Great Britain normally do not need customs paperwork. Northern Ireland and Channel Islands movements can have different information requirements, so enter the actual collection and delivery locations.

Parcel Delivery to Europe

We arrange parcel delivery between the UK and European destinations, including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland. Road-based courier services can suit less urgent boxes, while express options may use air transport.

Parcels containing goods moving between Great Britain and the EU normally need customs information, even when they are small or not being sold. Confirm the contents, value, origin, importer details and who will deal with destination charges before dispatch.

For larger European consignments requiring pallet handling, compare our road freight options rather than trying to fit unsuitable goods into a parcel service.

Worldwide Parcel Delivery

Pallet2Ship arranges worldwide parcel exports and imports across supported routes, including the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Singapore and the UAE. Check our international destinations and enter both addresses for the available services.

Express courier services suit urgent parts and time-sensitive orders; Economy options can provide a lower-cost alternative when the schedule is flexible. Remote coverage, local restrictions and the receiver's customs arrangements can affect the final delivery.

For consignments needing freight rather than parcel handling, our air freight services provide another option. Worldwide coverage does not mean every service accepts every item or postcode.

How Much Does Parcel Delivery Cost?

The price depends on the route, carrier, service speed, number of parcels and the size and weight of each package. Heavy, oversized or irregular items can attract handling charges that do not apply to smaller standard boxes.

Use the fully packed measurements to obtain a quote, and compare the full transport price for the selected service before booking. International duties, taxes or clearance-related costs may be separate; these are not the same as surcharges caused by an incorrect weight or failed collection.

For multi-parcel shipments, do not estimate the price using the combined weight alone. Each piece has its own size, weight and handling profile.

How Is Volumetric Weight Calculated?

Many express parcel services charge using the higher of actual packed weight and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight represents the space occupied by the package.

A commonly used calculation is:

Length × width × height in centimetres ÷ 5,000 = volumetric weight in kilograms

For example, a box measuring 60 × 50 × 40 cm has a volumetric weight of 24 kg using that divisor. If its actual weight is 12 kg, the starting chargeable weight is 24 kg; carrier rounding and any minimum or large-piece rules may also apply.

The calculation depends on the service. Enter actual weight and packed dimensions, not a self-adjusted weight. For several parcels, each piece is assessed separately. Reducing unnecessary outer-box space can help control cost, but never remove essential protection just to make a package smaller.

What Does Length Plus Girth Mean?

Some couriers use combined length and girth to check parcel size. For a rectangular box:

Length + 2 × width + 2 × height

Length is the longest side. This is a size measurement, not a volumetric-weight calculation. A parcel can meet a weight limit and still exceed a size limit, so check both for the selected service.

Import Parcels into the UK

You can arrange collection from an overseas supplier, customer or other sender for delivery to the UK. Imports are available from Europe and supported worldwide origins, including heavy boxes and multi-parcel consignments that fit the chosen service.

Ask the overseas sender to confirm the final packed measurements, individual weights, goods-ready date, collection opening hours and a current local telephone number. They also need to prepare the goods and follow the label and document instructions supplied for the booking.

The UK importer should confirm the customs details and how any import charges will be handled. Collection arrangements vary by overseas service; do not apply a UK domestic collection deadline to a foreign collection. Our Export & Import service page explains the wider process

How Long Does Parcel Delivery Take?

UK next-working-day options are available on selected services. International delivery estimates depend on the route, service speed, collection arrangements, customs clearance and the final address.

Compare the estimate shown for the specific service rather than using one general UK-to-Europe or worldwide timeframe. Express services prioritise speed; Economy services may take longer. Customs enquiries, public holidays, remote delivery areas and missed delivery attempts can extend the journey.

Same-day collection and same-day delivery are different services. A parcel collected today still travels according to the delivery service booked.

What Can You Send by Parcel?

Parcel services can carry a wide range of boxed goods, including:

  • Documents, samples and small business orders
  • Clothing, textiles and ecommerce products
  • Tools, spare parts and replacement items
  • Boxed stock, returns and other accepted commercial goods

Private senders can also send accepted gifts or other non-commercial parcels. Tell us what is inside the package, rather than describing only its packaging as a “box” or “parcel”.

Restricted Goods and Personal Effects

Alcohol is not carried on any service. Batteries, liquids, aerosols, food, medicines, chemicals and other regulated products need checking against the route and carrier requirements. A fragile or high-value item is not automatically prohibited, but its packaging, acceptance and insurance conditions must be checked separately.

Personal effects may be sent using our DHL service only. Used furniture must be professionally packed by a removal company. That does not mean it qualifies as a courier parcel: size, handling and service acceptance still need to be confirmed.

Dangerous goods must be declared before booking and may be possible only following manual review and carrier approval. Do not book them as standard parcels. Provide the product and safety information requested so the team can assess the available options.

How Should I Pack a Parcel?

Use packaging designed to protect the contents through sorting, vehicle movements and repeated handling. A carrier accepting a parcel does not confirm that its packaging will protect the contents.

  • Choose a strong box suitable for the goods and finished weight; heavier items need stronger packaging.
  • Cushion and restrain the contents so they cannot shift or strike each other.
  • Protect sharp edges and vulnerable parts without leaving loose or exposed sections.
  • Seal the top and bottom seams with suitable parcel tape.
  • Remove obsolete shipping labels and place the new label flat on a clear surface.
  • Measure and weigh each parcel only after all packing is complete.

For heavy items, use internal supports or cushioning that will not collapse under the load. Retail packaging may need an outer shipping box. A “Fragile” label is not a substitute for protective packaging, and ordinary courier handling is unsuitable for goods that depend on remaining upright or avoiding all stacking.

Follow the selected carrier's instructions for heavy-piece labels, crates or non-standard packaging. Do not assume bubble wrap, shrink wrap or a product case alone is an acceptable outer package.

Customs Documents for International Parcels

Small parcels containing goods can still need customs clearance. For applicable international bookings, complete the required Commercial Invoice through Pallet2Ship's online process using accurate shipment information.

The carrier or appointed customs representative uses the information supplied for the relevant declaration. Creating an invoice does not, by itself, complete customs clearance or guarantee release.

Prepare the following information before dispatch:

  • Sender, receiver and importer details, including working contact information
  • A clear description, quantity and accurate value for each product line
  • Currency, reason for export and country of origin
  • The correct Commodity Codes and any product-specific documents
  • Relevant EORI numbers or local importer identification where required

Descriptions should explain what the goods are, what they are made from and their use where relevant. “Cotton T-shirts” or “steel mounting brackets for machinery” tells customs more than “clothes” or “parts”.

Gifts, samples, returns and personal effects still need accurate descriptions and values. A Proforma Invoice may be accepted for a non-sale shipment, but use the document requested for your service rather than assuming all non-sale goods follow the same procedure.

Northern Ireland parcel rules differ by route and whether the sender and receiver are businesses or consumers. Provide the information requested for that movement; do not assume either that all UK parcels need declarations or that every UK-addressed parcel is customs-free.

Duties, Taxes and Receiver Charges

Door-to-door delivery does not automatically mean duties and taxes are paid. The quotation explains the transport and services included; international duties, taxes and some clearance or destination charges may be separate even when the booking is accurate.

For commercial shipments, agree the Incoterms and the practical customs arrangements before dispatch. Under DAP, the buyer normally handles import clearance and charges. A sender-paid arrangement must be supported by the selected service and destination rules; do not simply write DDP on an invoice and assume it is arranged.

For goods coming into Great Britain, VAT can be collected at purchase or dealt with on import, depending on the transaction. Tell the carrier about any relevant tax information already supplied by the seller and ensure the receiver can respond promptly to a genuine customs request.

Parcel Tracking and Support

Tracking is included with our parcel services. Use the tracking details supplied for the booking to follow recorded collection, transit and delivery events. Updates reflect carrier scans and system events, not a continuous live location.

For a multi-parcel consignment, check the records for each piece rather than assuming one delivered box confirms receipt of the whole shipment. Allow for gaps between scans during international transport or customs processing.

If something needs investigating, contact Pallet2Ship with the booking reference and relevant tracking numbers. Check whether the receiver has missed a delivery notice or a request for customs information or payment.

Parcel Insurance

Insurance can be added during booking for values from £100 to £50,000, with higher cover available on request. Check the policy terms shown during booking and declare the goods and value accurately.

Carrier acceptance and insurance cover are different checks. Some goods or circumstances have exclusions or conditions, and limited carrier liability is not the same as insurance for the full value of the contents. For several boxes, confirm the cover for the consignment rather than assuming the limit applies separately to every parcel.

When Is Pallet Delivery More Suitable?

Consider pallet delivery if the goods exceed parcel-service limits, need mechanical handling or would travel more appropriately as a secured load. Several bulky cartons may justify comparison, but there is no universal number of boxes or weight at which switching is always cheaper.

Our freight services cover palletised alternatives for domestic and international movements. For very large or awkward goods, oversized pallet delivery may be more suitable.

Tell us how the goods will actually be presented. A loaded pallet must be booked on a service that accepts palletised freight, not described as one large parcel to fit a quotation.

How to Book Parcel Delivery

  1. Prepare and measure. Check the goods are accepted, pack them securely, then record each parcel's full dimensions and actual weight.
  2. Get a quote. Enter the collection and delivery locations and the details of every box. Select an overseas collection country for an import into the UK.
  3. Choose the service. Compare the transport price, estimated delivery time, collection options and size or handling conditions.
  4. Complete the booking. Supply the contact details and required customs information, choose an available collection date and add insurance where needed. International bookings require a free online account.
  5. Label and hand over. Use the correct label for each parcel and follow the booking's document instructions. Have the goods ready and someone available for collection.
  6. Follow the shipment. Use tracking and respond to carrier or customs requests. Make sure the receiver knows the shipment is coming and understands any import responsibilities.

⚠️ Important: Many delays occur because requirements are missed. Please read the service information shown under the blue “i” button on each quote and check the service icons carefully. They provide essential details about what is and isn't included (e.g., tail-lift, Amazon access, restricted goods). Always review these before booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quotes, Services and Carriers

Parcel delivery moves individual boxes, cartons or packages through a courier network. Pallet2Ship arranges UK deliveries, international exports and imports into the UK, including heavier or larger parcels where the selected service accepts them. A parcel is not defined by one universal weight limit.
We work with DHL, FedEx and UPS. The available options depend on the route, goods, packed dimensions and weight. You book through Pallet2Ship, the chosen carrier transports the parcels, and our team can help with booking questions and carrier enquiries.
Yes. Parcel services suit ecommerce orders, samples, stock, spare parts, returns and other business shipments. You can send one consignment or ship regularly without a credit account or minimum shipment volume. Each booking should reflect the actual packages and delivery requirements.
Yes, where the goods, route and service are accepted. Private parcels can include gifts and other non-commercial goods. Personal effects use our DHL service only and need the requested documentation. Being a private sender does not remove packaging, customs or carrier requirements.
No account is needed to get a quote, and there is no credit account, credit check or minimum shipment volume. To complete an international booking, you will need a free online account for the booking and customs documents. This is separate from a credit account; payment is made when you book.
The cost depends on the route, service, number of parcels and each package’s dimensions and weight. Large, heavy or irregular pieces can have additional handling charges. Enter the finished measurements for an online transport quote, then check the inclusions and any separate international duties, taxes or clearance costs.
Yes. Enter the collection and delivery locations, parcel quantity, actual weight and packed dimensions to compare available services. Heavy or oversized parcels can also return online options when they meet service limits. If no suitable option appears, contact us rather than reducing the measurements or choosing an unsuitable service.
Selected UK services offer next-working-day delivery. International timings vary by destination, carrier and service, with Express and Economy options where available. Check the estimated delivery time together with the collection date. Customs checks, remote addresses and non-working days can extend the journey; there is no single worldwide transit time.

UK Delivery, Exports and Imports

Yes. Pallet2Ship arranges UK parcel deliveries to supported business and residential addresses. Next-working-day options are available on selected routes, subject to collection and service availability. Highlands, islands and remote locations may have different schedules. Check the actual postcode and service rather than assuming nationwide next-day coverage.
Yes. We arrange parcels to supported European destinations, including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland. Parcels containing goods moving between Great Britain and the EU normally need customs information. Road-based and express options depend on the route and package details.
Yes. Supported routes include the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Singapore, the UAE and many other destinations. Availability depends on the exact origin, destination and contents. Do not assume every carrier serves every postcode or accepts the same goods.
Yes. Select the overseas country as the collection country and the UK as the destination. We arrange imports from Europe and supported worldwide origins, including heavy boxes and multiple parcels on suitable services. The sender must be ready for collection and provide the required export and customs information.
The supplier should pack the goods, confirm each parcel’s dimensions and weight, provide the invoice and export details, and follow the label instructions. Give us a named contact, local telephone number, opening hours and goods-ready date. Overseas collection schedules are service-specific; UK collection deadlines do not automatically apply.
Services are available to many regional locations, but remote, rural, island and northern postcodes may have fewer options, longer delivery estimates or extra charges. Enter the full address for a quotation and declare access restrictions. Contact us if the address or shipment needs a manual service check.

Heavy, Oversized and Multiple Parcels

Yes, on services that accept the individual package weight and handling requirements. We can arrange heavy boxed goods such as tools, parts and equipment as well as ordinary parcels. Use suitable strong packaging and declare the actual packed weight. Goods needing mechanical handling may require a pallet or freight service.
Yes, where the selected service accepts the dimensions and packaging. A long, light parcel can be oversized even when its weight is low. Measure to the furthest points and check length, overall dimensions and length-plus-girth limits where used. Very large or awkward packages may need manual review.
There is no single limit across DHL, FedEx, UPS and all their services. Limits apply to each package as well as, on some services, the total consignment. Enter every parcel’s actual weight and dimensions to see the available options. A carrier’s published general limit is not automatically the limit for every Pallet2Ship service.
The maximum depends on the courier product and route. A service can apply limits to the longest side, other dimensions, combined length and girth, or weight. Large-piece charges may start below the maximum size. Check the quoted service requirements before booking an oversized parcel.
Yes, on supported services when the parcels share the collection and delivery addresses. Enter the packed dimensions and weight of every box, not just the combined weight. Use each parcel’s assigned label and check the individual tracking records for the complete consignment.
Each delivery address needs its own booking. Multi-parcel booking means several boxes travelling together between the same collection and delivery addresses, not one order covering unrelated receivers. Separate bookings ensure the correct routing, labels, documents and delivery instructions for each destination.
Do not bundle separate boxes together to create one parcel. They can separate or become unsuitable for the courier’s handling equipment. Book them as individual parcels with their own measurements and labels, or use one suitable outer shipping box if the finished package meets the service requirements.
Measure the fully packed parcel at its longest, widest and highest points. Include bulging sides and protruding packaging, not just the item inside. For an irregular package, measure the outer rectangular space it occupies. Use the units requested by the quote system and follow the service’s rounding instructions.
Use suitable scales and weigh the parcel after packing. Include the box, protective material, tape and everything inside. Weigh each piece separately in a multi-parcel shipment. Guessing or under-declaring the weight can lead to re-rating, extra charges or an unsuitable service being selected.
Volumetric weight reflects the space a parcel occupies. Many express services use length × width × height in centimetres divided by 5,000, then compare the result with actual weight. For example, 60 × 50 × 40 cm gives 24 kg using this divisor. The applicable calculation, rounding and minimum charges depend on the service.
For a rectangular parcel, length plus girth is the longest side plus twice the width plus twice the height: L + 2W + 2H. Some couriers use this to check size. It is not the same as volumetric weight, and meeting one measurement rule does not mean the parcel meets every service limit.
Consider a pallet when goods exceed parcel limits, need mechanical handling or travel more appropriately as a secured load. Several bulky boxes can also justify comparing the total costs. There is no fixed number of boxes that always makes a pallet cheaper. Book the service that matches how the goods will actually be presented.

Packing and Protection

Use a strong shipping box suitable for the weight and contents. Cushion and restrain the goods, protect vulnerable areas and seal the seams securely. Heavy items need packaging and internal supports that will not collapse under their load. Follow any service-specific packaging or heavy-label instructions and measure only after packing.
Only if it remains strong, dry and undamaged and the selected service permits it. Remove old shipping labels and barcodes. A worn or weakened box is not suitable simply because it has survived one journey. For heavy or fragile contents, a new box of the correct strength is the better starting point.
Some fragile items can travel on suitable services, but acceptance, packing and insurance need separate checks. Protect the contents against movement and ordinary courier handling; a Fragile label alone is not enough. Items that cannot tolerate normal sorting, stacking or changes of orientation may need a different transport arrangement.

Customs, Duties and International Paperwork

Parcels containing goods moving between Great Britain and other countries normally need customs information and the invoice or supporting documents required by the service. Provide clear descriptions, quantities, values, origin and sender/receiver details, plus commodity codes, EORI or local importer details where applicable. Document-only envelopes and Northern Ireland movements can follow different arrangements.
A Commercial Invoice records the details customs need for goods being sold or moved commercially, including descriptions, values, origin, parties and the reason for export. It supports the customs declaration but does not replace it. Complete the required invoice information through the Pallet2Ship booking process.
For a non-sale shipment, a Proforma Invoice may provide customs with descriptions, quantities, values, origin and the reason for sending the goods. It can be accepted for some gifts, samples, returns or personal effects, depending on the service and destination. No sale does not mean no customs value or paperwork.
A commodity code classifies goods for customs and is based on the Harmonised System. Countries can extend the shared HS classification with additional digits, so use the code required for the relevant declaration. The correct classification helps determine duty, taxes, restrictions and supporting documents.
Businesses moving goods into or out of Great Britain normally need a GB EORI for the relevant customs arrangements. Northern Ireland can require different identification. Private individuals moving non-controlled goods solely for personal use generally do not need an EORI. The destination may still require local receiver or importer details.
No. Requirements depend on the route, goods and whether the movement is between businesses, consumers or both. Some consumer parcel movements have simplified arrangements; business-to-business movements have their own requirements. Provide the information requested for the selected service rather than assuming every UK parcel needs the same customs process.
Yes. For applicable international bookings, our online process helps generate the Commercial Invoice from the details you supply, and our team can explain the information required. The carrier or appointed representative handles the relevant declaration under the service arrangements. The sender and importer remain responsible for accurate information and supporting evidence.
Not usually. The transport quotation and international customs charges are different. Duty, taxes and clearance-related fees can apply separately even when the shipment is correctly booked. For some purchases, tax is collected at checkout; in other cases it is dealt with during import. Check what has been paid and who is responsible.
A sender-paid arrangement may be available on selected services and routes, but it must be confirmed before booking. Agree the commercial terms and make sure the carrier can apply the required billing and customs arrangements. Writing DDP on an invoice alone does not create a supported duties-paid service.
Yes, where the service and destination accept the goods. Declare the actual contents, a supportable value and the correct reason for export. Gifts and samples can still require customs information and attract charges. Describing a purchase as a gift or assigning a token value does not make it exempt.
Yes, on supported routes. Tell us the shipment is a return and retain the original invoice and previous shipment details where available. Returns, repairs and replacements can need specific customs procedures or evidence. Do not assume they are automatically duty-free or use zero as the customs value.

Restricted Goods and Personal Effects

Yes. Acceptance depends on the contents, carrier and route. Alcohol is not carried by Pallet2Ship. Other goods, including batteries, chemicals, some food, medicines and liquids, may need approval or be prohibited on particular services. Fragile or high-value goods also need packing and cover checks, but are not one blanket prohibited category.
No. Pallet2Ship does not carry alcohol on any service.
Some can be sent after the relevant checks. Declare the battery type, quantity and whether batteries travel alone, with equipment or inside equipment. Lithium batteries can be regulated as dangerous goods, especially by air. Provide the requested product and safety information before booking; damaged or defective batteries need particular assessment.
Some ambient, non-perishable food can be accepted on selected services, subject to the destination’s rules and any required documentation. Meat, dairy, plant and other regulated products can have additional controls. Standard parcel services are not a temperature-controlled solution for chilled, frozen or otherwise temperature-sensitive goods.
Some services accept certain liquids, while others restrict them or require special preparation. Acceptance depends on the product, packaging and route. Flammable, corrosive or other hazardous liquids need a dangerous-goods review. Check before booking and do not assume that leakproof packaging alone makes the liquid acceptable.
Personal effects are not carried through standard freight networks and may be sent using our DHL service only. Used furniture must be professionally packed by a removal company. Goods must be declared clearly and supported by a detailed inventory or Proforma Invoice. Packing alone does not establish suitability for parcel handling; confirm the service before booking.
Some dangerous goods may be possible following manual review and carrier approval. They must not be booked as standard parcels without prior confirmation. We may need a current Safety Data Sheet, UN number, proper shipping name, hazard class, packing group where applicable, quantity and packaging details. Pallet2Ship does not classify or pack the goods for you.

Booking, Collection and Delivery

Check the goods are accepted, pack every parcel, then enter the collection and delivery locations, individual dimensions, weights and quantities. Choose an available service, complete the booking and customs information where required, and follow the label instructions. For imports, enter the overseas address as the collection point.
Available dates depend on the collection postcode, carrier and service. Select a date offered for the booking and have the parcels ready within the collection window. Overseas imports may have a different local scheduling process; follow the instructions for that service rather than assuming a UK-style collection arrangement.
It may be available on selected UK domestic or export parcel services, depending on booking time, postcode, driver availability and the shipment details. Check the exact service before booking. Parcel cut-offs are not the domestic pallet-network deadlines, and same-day collection does not mean same-day delivery.
The courier collects within the operating window arranged for your service and postcode. A booking cut-off is the last booking time, not the driver’s arrival time. Do not assume an exact appointment or a telephone call beforehand. Tell us about restricted opening hours before booking so the available options can be checked.
Follow the instructions for the selected service. Where labels are supplied for printing, attach the correct label to each parcel before collection, with the barcode flat and unobstructed. Do not assume the driver will bring labels or that a printerless option exists. If you cannot print, check before booking.
Someone must be available to hand the parcels to the collecting courier. At delivery, attendance or a signature depends on the service and destination. Do not assume a heavy or valuable parcel can be left unattended or carried upstairs. Give accurate contact details and declare any access or receiving restrictions.
Contact Pallet2Ship as soon as possible. Changes or cancellation depend on the service and how far the booking has progressed; they can be more difficult after collection or customs processing has started. Charges may apply, and an address change or cancellation is not confirmed until the relevant arrangements have been checked.

Tracking, Insurance and Delivery Problems

Yes. Tracking is included with our parcel services. Use the information supplied for your booking to follow recorded shipment events. For multiple parcels, check each piece where individual tracking is provided. A label being created is not proof that the courier has collected the parcel.
Tracking updates depend on carrier scans and system events. There can be gaps during transport or customs processing, and different boxes in a consignment can show different statuses. Check each tracking number and contact Pallet2Ship if a piece remains outstanding or the delivery estimate has passed without a useful update.
Check the tracking, delivery address and any notices first. Ask the receiver whether customs or the carrier has requested information, payment or a delivery instruction. Contact Pallet2Ship with the booking reference and tracking details when an investigation is needed. Use recognised booking or carrier channels to verify unexpected payment requests.
Yes. Insurance can be added during booking for values up to £50,000, with higher cover available on request. Cover is subject to the policy terms shown during booking. Declare the contents and value accurately, and check how the cover applies to a multi-parcel consignment rather than assuming the maximum applies to every box.
No. Insurance has exclusions, limits and packing conditions. Carrier acceptance does not automatically establish insurance cover, and limited carrier liability is not the same as full-value insurance. Check the terms for your goods, particularly used or fragile items and personal effects, before adding cover.
Contact Pallet2Ship promptly with the booking and tracking details. For damage, keep the goods and all packaging, photograph the outer box, label, internal protection and contents, and note visible damage at delivery where possible. Lost parcels need a carrier investigation. See our Claims Process for the evidence and steps; notification deadlines and policy conditions apply.
