Yes, we can collect items bought or sold on eBay — but only with full contact details. We do not accept eBay-generated email addresses (random codes at ebay.co.uk). Bookings must include a real name, personal email, and working phone number, otherwise delays or cancellations may occur.

Yes, non-stackable pallets are accepted, and in the UK there is no extra charge. Unlike some providers, we do not charge more for non-stackable pallets. Your price is based on pallet size, not stackability.
Collections & Access
Collections take place between 08:00 and 18:00. Most are completed between 09:00 and 17:30, but customers should ensure someone is on site from 08:00 on the day of collection. Delivery windows can be selected in the Instant Quote Tool.
Yes. Pallet2Ship is built for SMEs, so our services are designed for business premises with a yard, loading bay, or goods-in/goods-out area. We can also collect from private individuals, but only if pallets are made available kerbside. We do not collect pallets left inside houses, sheds, garages, kitchens, on grass, gravel, steep slopes, or uneven surfaces.
No, most collections and deliveries are made with a tail-lift vehicle. We accept oversized pallets up to 220 cm in length on tail-lift services. For pallets longer than 220 cm, a forklift is required at both collection and delivery points. See packing advice in How to Prepare a Pallet.
Standard tail-lifts and pump trucks can handle pallets up to 800 kg (some carriers allow up to 1,000 kg). Heavier pallets require a forklift at collection and delivery.
Please declare restricted access at booking. This includes narrow roads, height restrictions, or tail-lift requirements. Always check the service icons for details.
Calls can be requested but are never guaranteed. Drivers follow fixed routes. Ensure collection and delivery premises are manned during business hours.
We’ll reschedule the collection or delivery, but storage or redelivery fees may apply depending on the carrier. You’ll be notified by email with next steps.
Packing, Pallet Sizes & Restricted Items
Where possible, goods should not overhang the pallet. Oversized goods are accepted but must be very well packed and protected, especially at the corners. See How to Prepare a Pallet.
Yes, if fully drained and professionally cleaned. Automotive parts must be free of fluids (oil, fuel, coolant). Check Prohibited & Restricted Items before booking.
Yes, but restrictions apply depending on the battery type and service. Lithium batteries are heavily regulated. Always check Prohibited & Restricted Items and How to Prepare a Pallet.
Yes, but only with the correct documentation and approved carrier. Dangerous goods require MSDS and suitable packing. Read more in Logistics 101.
Fragile and high-value goods must be packed securely and insured. We recommend robust pallets, padding, corner protection, and adding extra cover at checkout. See Insurance Information.

Documents & Insurance
No documents are required for shipments within Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Wight, Scottish Isles). Shipments to Northern Ireland require a commercial or pro forma invoice due to post-Brexit rules. See Logistics 101 – Customs Requirements and Get an EORI Number.
Yes, most services include basic insurance, with optional upgrades available. Insurance details are shown at the quotation stage under the 'i' button. Step 3 of booking also lets you add extra cover. Read Insurance Information.

Tracking updates are available on the day of collection once your pallet is scanned into the network. You’ll receive tracking links by email and in your account.
If you have an account, you can edit your booking online. We strongly recommend opening a Pallet2Ship account: it allows you to amend details, manage invoices, and store your address book. If you need to correct details, update them in your account or contact us in writing by email (we cannot accept changes by phone).

Even though we offer dedicated services for different types of shipments, most of our customers are businesses who use our services to sell or purchase their goods. We are very proud to be able to provide a wide range of services that our customers can choose from, enabling them to have complete peace of mind that their cargo is handled by the most reliable carriers on the market.
A commercial delivery within the UK is likely to be processed smoothly, as no documentation is needed. It used to be the same for European shipments, however the situation has changed after Brexit. The current regulation requires a Commercial Invoice for all shipments which are subject of a sale. There are a few things to check before placing a shipment that leaves or enters the EU, such as both the sender and the receiver being EORI and VAT registered if the shipment is business-to-business.
In case of a shipment between a business and a private individual, the company must be VAT and EORI registered, and the private individual needs to apply for an EORI number. However, we offer alternatives to the private individual customers who are not able to apply for an EORI, which are our DHL services. The DHL services can handle a shipment between a business and a private individual, without requiring an EORI number for the residential customer. We strongly advise our customers to complete the Commercial Invoice carefully, because any missing details, or incorrect information can delay the shipment.
Our services can handle different type of shipments, such as fragile goods, engines & other car parts, non-perishable food items, office & IT equipment, furniture and many more, and our most-trusted carriers will deliver your cargo safely. On certain occasions we can ship dangerous and hazardous good as well but an MSDS or DGN will be required beforehand to check if the goods can be transported through our services.
