How quickly can Pallet2Ship deliver to Thailand?

For air freight services, Pallet2ship offers 2-4 working days transit time. However, for a sea freight service (port to port ONLY) transit time is approximately 32 working days (E.g to BANGKOK Port). Typically one week would be added to the transit time for the domestic collection and loading onto the vessel.

How do I need to pack my pallet when shipping to Thailand?

When shipping to Thailand the goods should be very well packed and placed on a heat treated/fumigated pallet. What documents are required to ship a pallet to Thailand?

If you are shipping as a private individual, a proforma invoice with EORI number will suffice. If the shipment is on behalf of a registered company customs will require a commercial invoice.

Can I ship from Thailand to the UK?

Yes, Pallet2ship is happy to offer import services from Thailand to the UK and a price can be obtained using the request quote page.

Can I ship a pallet that includes personal effects to Thailand?

Yes, you can, but we will require some pictures of the consignment in order to make sure the goods travel safely. Please make sure that at the time of the booking you follow the instructions and select a service which handles personal effects.

If I deliver goods to Thailand, do I need a local telephone number or a mobile number?

Yes, if you are shipping to Thailand, please be advised you need to provide a local telephone number or mobile number at the delivery address. Depots outside of the UK will not call a UK telephone number.

If I deliver a pallet to Thailand, can I add timed delivery (AM delivery/PM delivery, Timed delivery or Saturday delivery)?

Can I insure my pallet when shipping to/from Thailand?

Yes, you can insure directly on our website for goods with a value from £100 to £45,000 when placing your order. If the value exceeds £45,000, please email us at office@pallet2ship.co.uk and we'll provide a quote within minutes.

How can I obtain a quotation?

You can receive a quotation directly on our homepage. Select the collection and destination countries and the number of pallets or parcels you would like to send. Then enter the weight and the dimensions making sure you use kilograms and centimetres ONLY. Based on the provided details you will be able to choose between a number of services. Select the service best suits your needs, and complete the booking online. If the online system cannot automatically generate prices, please fill on the custom quote form and we will get back to you within a few hours.

How do I know if my consignment is properly packed?

If you haven't sent a pallet/ parcel before, and you are not sure if your consignment is properly packed, you can take a few pictures and send them to us at office@pallet2ship.co.uk and we can guide you through the packing process. A properly packed consignment will travel safely, and the risk of damage is minimised.

Can I ship a pallet that includes batteries to Thailand?

Yes, we ship a large variety of batteries, but we will need the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) of the product to make sure it is safe to be transported through our services. Please be advised that batteries over 100 Wh are considered DG (Dangerous Goods). In this case it has to be packed, labelled and documented to IATA specifications - i.e. professionally packed with a DGN (Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods by Air). Also, please be advised that handling charges may apply if you choose to ship this type of goods by air.

Do I need forklift when shipping a pallet to Thailand?

If you are shipping a consignment that's shorter than 200cm and lighter than 750kg, you won't need a forklift. The vehicle assigned to collect your consignment is equipped with both a tail-lift and pump-truck, and the driver should be able to collect/deliver your consignment(s) without any issues. If your consignment exceeds 200cm in height and if it's heavier than 750kg, then yes, you must have a forklift at both collection and delivery points.

Which service can I use to ship my pallet to Thailand?

Both air freight and sea freight services are available. If your consignment is not urgent, you can choose to send your goods on a sea freight service as this is by far the most cost effective, especially for large and heavy pallets. You can ship from 1 single pallet to full container loads. If your consignment is urgent, and is not larger than 160cm in height, air freight offers the quickest transit times.
